ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY

  • 1. Freshmen

    High school graduates

  • 2. Transfer to Sophomore

    - Applicants who graduated from community college should be holders of an associate degree
    - Applicants who have finished more than a year of study at a foreign four-year university should have obtained one quarter or more of the minimum scores for obtaining a degree.

  • 3. Transfer to Junior

    - Applicants who graduated from community college should holders of an associate degree
    - Applicants who have finished more than two years of study at a foreign four-year university should have obtained one half or more of the minimum scores for obtaining a degree.

  • Applications can be submitted online through the Admissions Information link on the university website.
  • Admitted students are selected based on their Personal Statement (80%) and Personality test (20%).
    • High school and college records will not be accounted for the screening process.
    • A Personal Statement (including purpose for applying, strong points, study plan and future plan) must be submitted with the application.

  • For detailed information concerning special screening rules for students who have lived outside Korea and completed their entire elementary, junior and senior high school education overseas.

TUITION & FEES

  • The fee is set at KRW 80,000 per unit; students may sign up for a minimum of 12 to a maximum 24 credits per semester.

Notes

  • Admission application forms may not be corrected and will not be returned after submission.
  • An application should be filled in accurately by checking the admissions guidelines carefully. The applicant will be exclusively responsible for admission revoked or punishment under the university rules due to errors, omissions, mistakes on his/her application form or due to failure to be contacted.
  • Tuition fee will be returned according to the given procedure when enrollment is withdrawn before the semester begins.
  • Newly admitted freshman or transfer student cannot take off six months or longer on a leave of absence unless otherwise provided under the university rules.
  • Attention should be paid to limited numbers of students enrolled for sub-divided classes based on greater unit lecture system when the student applies for credits/courses.

I am a person of integrity and warm-heartedness. I am always trying to be caring and helpful and get along well with people around me. Also I have strong sense of responsibility, and so carry out my duty to the fullest.

When I was in junior college, I had opportunities to go abroad to study foreign languages and cultures. The experiences abroad gave me wider perspective on the world. Right after graduation, I got a job at a child-care center. It is not so easy to take care of children, but now I am trying to do my best for my kids.

While I am working, I thought that I need academic knowledge to be more professional and I am much more interested in getting a certificate or license than ever before. When I graduate this university and get a degree, I want to go to a graduate school and think of running my own child care center. After thinking over and again, I decided to apply for Kyung Hee Cyber University, one of the best cyber universities in Korea.

  • Screening standards(100%) : Personal statement (80%) + Personality test (20%)
  • Applicants should fill out personal information, personal statement and personality test by online.

  • All required documents should be arrived as original documents in KHCU by the deadline.

    Note : As for the documents issued overseas, copies can be submitted after comparing them with the originals.

  • Documents in foreign languages other than English may be requested to translated or notarized.
  • Applicants may be required to submit additional documents if necessary.

3) Agree with ‘the Provison of application, personal statement and personal test result’
4) Register student ID, nickname, Password and photo ? Click the [NEXT]button at the bottom right corner
5) If successful, as you see the following page, click the [Confirm]button

1) After completion of student registration, Click [General Login] in main website(by ID, Password)
2) Click ‘My classroom’
3) Click ‘e-Service’ at the top right corner menu
4) Click ‘Class Registration’ button at the top left corner menu
5) Click the ‘Register’ banner which you want to take the class

It is advised to check the graduation requirements before class registration

Payment of Tuition Fee

1) Login to the main website
2) Click ‘My classroom’
3) Click ‘e-Service’ at the top right corner menu
4) Click ‘Class Registration’ button at the top left corner menu
5) Click ‘Payment of Tuition Fee’

Please check the amount of payment and waived tuition fee.
